"Because you're the son of a clerk and I'm not supposed to want to be you." Gives me chills every single time, Guy Pearce is so great in this role.

This is literally one of my favourite movies ever. I don't even know why, but I can watch it on repeat and never get tired or bored of it.

The Count's dismount from that hot air balloon at that ball is straight from the HIGHEST TIER of Aura Farming! 😭🙌🔥
🗣"Greetings"

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. One of my favorite little details is the lock that Edmond put on the empty chest with the chess piece inside. He knew Fernand would have a pistol on him and he'd have to use the one shot he had to get inside the chest, and wouldn't have an opportunity to reload before Edmond confronted him. Genius!

Every revenge story is based upon this revenge story.

Jim Caviezel is just so good. You noticed the naive eyes and now Dantes is so changed. Dantes died & the Count was born.

Guy pierce plays the most perfect villain. He is the worst. Such a great actor. And yes, the cheekbones were cheekboning… hard. 😀
