"This is like...Oscar-worthy!" This trilogy won 17 Oscars, 11 of which were won by Return of the King.

You know a movie is a technological masterpiece when 25 years later they're going "HOW DID THEY DO THIS!?"

The thing with Boromir is that he isn't weak or a bad guy, he's desperate which makes him easily corruptible. He will do whatever it takes to help his people and that makes him an easy target for the ring. We see how incredibly strong and brave he is before his death.

I gotta tell you, it was magical hearing you both say fantasy wasn’t your thing and then immediately recognize the gaze of wonder on your faces when the poem of the rings of power started

12:34 Interesting fact: Bilbo was the first creature in the history of Middle Earth to ever give away the One Ring willingly.

I’m genuinely surprised that people in the English-speaking world are only watching this film now. About 20 years ago, as a Chinese viewer, I first saw it on television, and I was absolutely blown away. I even went on to read the original novel (of course, in Chinese), studied its world-building in depth, and also explored The Hobbit. This trilogy truly reshaped my aesthetic sensibility—from the music to the visuals—and I actually find the second and third films even better than the first. Two days from now, I’ll also be attending a The Lord of the Rings concert in Dubai (I’m currently working here), and I’m really looking forward to the experience.

Boromir's death is one of the most moving things I've ever seen. It means everything.
