Today I learned 2 things:
1) Wooden muzzle breaks make for decent frag grenades
2) Gavin is so in tune with slow mo cameras that he can likely sense when one is damaged, even if he has no idea why

0:45 you all know full well that this scenario has probably happened not too differently in real life. Except we might see the firearms earlier than in this video. 😅

As a life-long woodworker, it never would have occurred to me to make a muzzle brake out of wood.
I guess that's why I watch KB

Could you imagine a barbecue with Scott? Everyone sitting around having a good time and here he comes helicoptering a table

“My neck wont stop itching, so many fond memories”. The fact you can make all these jokes with us now, so glad you have your thumbs.

Wood as a muzzle brake.
Step 1) Drill a caliber specific hole through the trunk of a 200' tall tree
Step 2) Tap thread one end.
Step 3) Cut gas channels at 90 degrees with a logger's chainsaw
Step 4) Screw rifle into tree

Now I'm pretty sure you "purist" out there might notice
there is a sight reduction in portability...

A great follow up video could be making progressively bigger wooden muzzle brakes until you find the size that will actually withstand the blast.

Well in all fairness, you are covering the ports of the flash hider. Be more interesting if they were actually screwed on the threads of the threaded barrels.
