I lived in the old Orphanage Apts., 3000 Magazine. It was haunted with happy children running in the halls in the middle of the night you’d hear laughter, and there were only four apartments on the top floor where I lived, and there were no children. You would open the door and see nothing, but I heard them several times. It was not scary but it was unsettling. I also lived on Pelican Avenue in Algiers Point there are a lot of spirits over there as well. I lived adjacent to a house that was a hospital during the Civil War. We moved to Texas due to Katrina. I was home sick for years. There is nowhere like the beautiful spirit of New Orleans, Louisiana.🙏🏽

Don’t forget between 1832 and 1838, thousands of Irish immigrants, and some German immigrants too, died working under terrible conditions to dig a canal through disease infested swamps to connect Lake Pontchartrain to the commercial area of the city of New Orleans. A Celtic Cross, made from Irish marble, stands today on the West End of the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. It is on Lake Pontchartrain blvd near the lake.

I lived in an apartment in an old mansion, that was the original owner who did photographs of the storyville prostitutes.my apartment was so haunted on Conti street, I lasted 2 weeks in it. After I was thrown across the room. I was sleeping,my roomate saw me levitate and thrown. That was it for me. I left and was  so scared,I got a friend to get my things. My roomate could listen to the cabinets in the kitchen slamming at night. And i actually dreamed one night. That a man was chasing me up the iron stairs from the courtyard, and i saw his eyes he was going to kill me. I never knew who owned it,until channel 12, did a story of that place about 20 years ago. I lived there in 1973. They turned into condos. They showed a pic of the original owner. I was like omg, it was him chasing me up the stairs in my dream.

New Orleans has some of the best food in the U.S. because of its incredible diversity of early inhabitants. French, Spanish, Caribbean, African, Native American. People fly to New Orleans for a weekend just to eat😂
