Crocodile Dundee 2 is a must see after this one, especially since you wanted to see more when this film ended. You'll love it.

This genre is known as a "fish out of water", older television shows thrived on it, Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres are two shows that used this.

This movie was an absolute phenomenon when it came out. It didnāt last long, but for a while it was simply everywhere in the media and inspired an Australia mini-craze.

Some viewers familiar with outback Australian working dogs often draw a parallel to Mick's behaviour at the end of the movie, seeing his head-walking stunt as an amusing nod to a āKelpieā dog walking on top of tightly crowded sheep (called ābackingā) in an urban human "flock" scenario.

To an Aussie kid growing up in the 70's, Skippy was the closest thing we'd get to something like Lassie.

When they're out in the Bush, Mick was shaving using a normal razor and quickly swapped to the huge knife when he sees Sue approaching. xD
