  Been going to Thailand for 18 years - ITS SIMPLE - THEY will never leave the man funding them, but they will play around behind his back repeatedly.

  I&apos;m in my mid-40s, and honestly, being in a relationship doesn&apos;t really make sense to me anymore. At this stage, my health and the general respect I get from people matter more than whether I have a woman in my life or not. I take good care of myself—physically, emotionally, mentally. I&apos;m consistent with diet, exercise, and staying balanced overall.<br><br>I still wish women all the best. If someone feels lonely, I’m happy to offer a kind word, a hug, or a short friendly chat. But when it comes to relationships—there&apos;s often too much drama involved.<br><br>I actually chatted with a girl from Bhutan recently. I thought she was from Southeast Asia at first—they look similar. She was 28, and we clicked quickly. She asked when I’d come visit her in Australia. I asked if she was in a relationship, and she said, “None that would be hard to forget.” So yeah, there’s definitely potential out there for people in their mid-40s, for men especially. You just have to start trying.<br><br>I really admire respectful, self-respecting, emotionally intelligent, confident women. But truthfully, I feel like I barely have time for anyone besides myself these days. That might change if I meet someone truly special—but for now, I’m just focusing on me.

  From my experience Thai women like a relationship that will lift their status ,not necessarily just money , but make them feel more important and improve their image to other thais

  If any older man assumes a younger Thai woman is with him for anything other than his money, he deserves what he gets. The logical approach is to let that woman prove her worth, loyalty, love and respect. Any other approach doesn’t past the common sense test!

  Met a 36 year old English teacher and we fell in love. I tested her a few times about money and she never wanted it. She only wanted me. 😊 Been together a couple of years and she is amazing.

  When I first started dating my Thai wife who is 25 years younger than me I tested her by not giving her much money to see if she would stay with me and she did. Now 10 years later we are married with a beautiful 5 year old daughter. So yes money is a factor in any intimate relationship with a woman in any country but it’s not always the number 1 factor and it’s not too hard to find out if it is or not.

  Successful Thai women with status, career and money will typically go for Thai men in the same social circles. As a western guy even if you marry her and have kids you will always be viewed as a Farang or outsider by her family, friends and the public. I&apos;ve lived there and this was my expeience, yours may vary
