  When facing a new cultural behaviour they don&apos;t know, many people start by being critical: that is not the way to do it, etc. The right reaction is to watch what is happening and to try to understand, and remove any interference from your own culture. That is the only way to be able to understand, appreciate and be able to melt in a new culture.<br><br>Now for some people, that thai culture is not so strange, it may be all we secretly were aspiring for, so it is easy to understand.<br><br>Asking &quot;have you eaten yet&quot; is equivalent of asking &quot;how are you&quot;.When I call my son, that is the very first thing he will ask me.<br><br>It is very nice to hear you speaking only Thai with your wife. Not broken English mixed with broken Thai, but only Thai. It is not so frequent on YouTube.

  I started crying in this video. I had a Thai fiance and she was exactly like this but she died in a car accident. That was 8 years ago and I dont think I will ever get over that. Thankyou for a great video.

  First time I was in Thailand I was sitting in a street side restaurant just enjoying a beer when I noticed 2 young Thai ladies across the “room” eating a hotpot &nbsp; . They beckoned me over and asked if would like to try, I said no thanks I’m just enjoying a beer. 30 seconds later I was now seated at their table as they got another bowl and just kept filling it up for me from their hotpot. It was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had pretty much anywhere, we joked around for about an hour. Such deeply lovely people. 🙏🏽🍜

  People in the west are so accustomed to being neglected or treated like crap that when they are treated with respect and actually cared for.....its quite a shock I imagine.

  Married 25 years to a Thai lady,and my wife constantly asks me &quot;are you hungry&quot;.I feel bad because sometimes I &nbsp;answer&quot;I can feed myself,I&apos;m not a child&quot;.I will now indulge her kindness and love for me instead.Lovely video my friend,very inciteful.

  I have a Isaan wife 🇹🇭🙏🏻 <br>She has a beautiful Khmer face and speaks more of a Laos dialect.<br>I could not ask for a better partner.<br>I enjoyed the video 👏🏻

  I&apos;ve been vacationing in Northern Thailand for the past few years. I stay for 2 or 3 months every year. I find myself missing Thailand so much I will be moving there at the end of next year. I&apos;ve met so many great people mostly locals and a few expats, I can honestly say I have more friends in Thailand than I have in the US. My Thai friends message me on my birthday when 90% of my US friends and family do not. I am learning Thai as I am still in the US I don&apos;t retain very much because I never have the chance to use it. <br>Thai people show they care by being considerate. Thanks for the great video
