My number one maintenance tip for those without a mechanical background is to start with simple tasks. Be honest with yourself about your abilities and don't do damage to parts or lose them. Sometimes it costs a lot less to bring your bike to me (and obviously people like me in your area) and let them do it right the first time.<br><br>Bikes are simple machines but only if you understand them.

Very helpful and easy to understand. i was hit off my bike on the 1st of dec by a van that didnt stop so ive to do all these things while i heal! keep up the good work!
