This is how you make an instructional video. Clear, succinct, explanations, and not rushed like so many other bike mechanics .

I've found it to be way faster to leave the components on the bike for cleaning and the results are just as good.

That tip for resetting the chain link by holding the back tire and using the crankset is so simple but a great little hack I hadn't thought of before.

The best piece of advice from this is one thing I have always done, which is not to overclean your bike.

I hope you use a proper respirator spraying so much PTFE in the air.

Taking apart the bike is not practical for most people. The takeaway that I’m getting is to not over lube the chain and have the bike professionally cleaned.

With teflon/PTFE being a primary ingredient, I would make sure to use it in a well ventilated area and/or use a mask with an organic vapor cartridge. Teflon is one of those "forever chemicals" that accumulates in your body

This is a gem of a video to stumble upon. Invaluable knowledge from someone with unthinkable amounts of experience around bikes and the mechanics behind them. Thank you and I LOVE your energy towards teaching!

That's how I did it before degreasers. I don't miss it, tbh.<br>PTFE is something I'd rather stay away from, tho.
