  I was 11 during Apollo 11 and a radio nerd. By Apollo 12 I rigged &nbsp;a receiver with a directional antenna aimed at the moon. I was thrilled to pick up signals. I could hear the opening tone and what sounded like voices, but I couldn’t make it out. Nevertheless, I knew Apollo was on the moon. <br><br>Also, when I was 10, I used a protractor with a weight aimed at the north star. In Montana the angle was around 46 degrees. We visited my cousins in San Diego CA and I brought my contraption. I measured around 33 degrees to the north star. I was so excited to see it matched the globe we had.<br><br>So, I dismissed flat-earthers as not worth engaging.

  here is the only reason i know for a fact that we didn&apos;t fake the moon landing, cuz if we did, the USSR would have sacrificed an entire Army of Cosmonauts to prove we faked it, just to make us look bad

  My favourite comment about the moon landing is: Kubrick was hired to shoot the moon landings, but he insisted on filming on location.
