  yes remove the air restriction and remove the cat, then you need to re/jet or re/program fuel mapping or run a small risk of running to lean and destroying your engine

  Some good basic tips. A couple of tips that should be avoided, do not drill out main jets. Buy the next size up as you can always go  back if needed. Don't widen you spark plugs, they are engineered with specs.

  My girlfriend had a 1 year old Harley sportster 1200 when I first met her, she said she was thinking of getting new rear shocks because it was hurting her back even on the softest setting, I told her to drop her tyre pressures by 3 psi, she said it was a completely different bike that felt so much better

  Run a strong magnet through the cut open oil filter to detect gear or cam wear. The magnet will separate the iron bits and dust in the oil from the copper and aluminum particulate.

  I removed the snorkel on my 1250 Bandit. It’s before the air filter and it’s cross sectional area is less than one of the four injector bodies CS area. Instant free safe horsepower.

  I Got a 2019 CB1000-R. Got Engine Covers all Cerakoated. Valve Cover in Arctic Black, Stator & Clutch Covers in Glacier Black & Oil Pan Powdercoated. On the inner surface of these Covers i got them Cerakoated in a specialized P-109 Micro Slick Dry Film to help with Oil Shedding & reduce Carbon buildup. I got a Samco coolant hose kit with Engine ice coolant. Swage-Line (made in Japan) Stainless steel brake lines. Motul 7100 4T engine Oil with K&N Oil/Air Filters. Liqui Moly 4T fuel additive. Got the Fuel tank Wrapped in X-Pel ultimate film protection. Evotech crash bars, Radiator Guard & Rear axle sliders. Barracuda chain Guard. D.I.D Gold X-Ring Chain. Puig windshield, Footpegs & Bar ends. LighTech  Master cylinder Caps. ASV Levers. Rizoma mirrors. SW-MOTECH belly  Pan & front axle sliders. Powdercoated Triple tree Steering stem & a Titanium steering stem Nut with R&G cap on top of it. MaxRacing steering damper & Ceramic Coated whole exhaust System at Jet-Hot of Burlington, NC. Carbon fiber exhaust tip & lots of titanium bolts. Cap fillers on 4 under seat holes. Aftermarket latest tech SKF fork seals with all fluids in Motul. R&G headlight protector & Engine case sliders. LuiMoto brand Seat Cushion made in Vancouver Canada. Pyramid front& rear fender extensions & a Custom Wilbers 640 rear Shock  from Germany 😊

  Especially on a motorcycle when fueling use pumps that have their own nosle per grade. On a shared pump by the time you've filled up the line has just cleared out and you paid for 91 and really got 85, 87. And possibly a whole bunch of ethanol.

  For oil filters, I use magnets  on filter and oil pan. pulls more metal our of oil than magnetic drain plug alone.

  I run ethanol free and I let my bike sit 6 months and it'll fire right up. Haven't had any fuel problems.

  Many, if not most bikes still don't use a knock sensor, so higher octane does nothing and your timing will not adjust accordingly. If yours does, correct to a point. You may still have a compression ratio too low to get any advantage.

  Do not drill out your carb jets, by the next 3 size increments drilling a jet destroys the compound shape of the orifice and will make it impossible to tune
