  For those who don't know, in the south, Chinese merchants were the only ones who were allowed to open stores to sell to Black customers in certain States. This is why the twins are such good friends with the Chinese family.

  The scene where the older man talks about the blues, how it leads into a story about the lynching, and how he stops himself from crying BY HUMMING AND SINGING THE BLUES. nearly made me cry!!

  As a choctaw myself im going to point this out. The choctaw bury the dead by removing the bones and putting them in what we call a bone house. Theyre called choctaw bone pickers.  Guess what song rimmick kept singing? Pick poor Robin clean. He is "Robin". This is why he was terrified of the choctaw. We were gonna pick his bones and separate his flesh from his bones preventing him from reforming. Oh and  before we pick the bones we leave the bodies in the sun to dry and you all know they cant do the sun. He was singing what was going to happen to him had we caught him!

  Something that struck me after rewatching this were Stack&apos;s last words. &quot;Last time I seen my brother&quot;. I figured &apos;well if Smoke and Stack were identical twins, Stack would just need to look in the mirror to see Smoke again.&apos;<br><br>And then I remembered Stack gets turned into a vampire<br><br>And vampires don&apos;t have reflections

  Fun Fact Rennick mentions that he remembers the Lord&apos;s Prayer when Christians took his father&apos;s home from him, which puts him about a thousand years old

  At the very beginning of the movie, the cuts between Sammie and his dad in church and Remmick and the night before was him realizing his daddy was the opposite side of the same coin as Remmick. Remmick wanted his music to reconnect to his people and Sammies dad wanted his music to convert people to Religion. That’s why he left. Two sides of a coin is still the same coin. At least him leaving he lived for himself and sang for the world.

  Rosewood wasn&apos;t just movie. It was a true story. A story that has happened in over a hundred black towns in the USA over the last 160 years since the emancipation. Many of those towns were turned into lakes... Such as lake Lanier in Georgia. Many others were simply leveled and the land stolen by the governments and private entities. Only Tulsa Oklahoman managed to rebuild after the massacre in 1921.

  The way they did the glowing eyes was based off nocturnal animals that have a reflective filter in their eyes that reflects light. It’s such an interesting way to show they’re vampires. And if you look close enough, you see the most important characters have specific colors. Remmick’s eyes are red, Stack’s are purple (a mix of red and blue), and Mary’s are kinda golden. Also the Twin’s names are Elias (Smoke) and Elijah (Stack) which are biblical names.

  If you notice Smoke ALWAYS get Stack to roll his cigarettes. &nbsp;When they aren&apos;t with each other Smoke uses a pipe. It&apos;s due to PTSD as when he&apos;s waiting for the racists he is shaking and can&apos;t roll the cigarette.

  I made it through the whole main film able to keep it together, but something about the final scene with Sammie, Mary, and Stack made me bawl. It&apos;s like the tenderness of the moment, them letting him choose to die a mortal, the realness in which everyone speaks of that day/night, and Stack keeping the promise he made to Smoke. Fantastic and powerful movie.
