  I am an old man and one of the most important things I have learned in my life is that I am NOT responsible for the way others treat me. They are. I am responsible for how I react to the way others treat me, and I am responsible for the way I treat others. I have no children but if I had a daughter with your depth of emotion and ability to express them, I would be so proud of you every single day.   James&apos; dad had Stage 4 Kidney Failure and had already donated a kidney himself, no match had been found and so this was James saying goodbye to his dad. As it happens this video was seen by a distant relative in Australia who turned out to be a match. His dad is still alive today. And yes this is his real dad in the video. Apparently at the end of the filming everyone in the room was crying and his dad just said &quot;Why is everyone crying? I&apos;m still here&quot;

  Hi sweetheart, I am a 66 year old man from Texas and I’m sending you a fatherly hug. I really enjoy watching your music reactions. You are a beautiful, sweet young lady. Please write to some more of Diana Ankudinova . That was James’s father in the video. He had stage four kidney disease and was dying. So James wrote this song to honor him but his father received a transplant and is still alive today.

  Yes, this song hits different for some of us. What if your father was the monster?<br><br>For some of us it&apos;s also a grief. A grief for a parent we wish we had.

  I totally understand you. My father was mostly away from me during my childhood, when he was with us he wasn&apos;t a good person. I loved him but decided to leave his side, years later he passed away and it hurt because we never actually bonded 😢and because even though he wasn&apos;t a good father I loved him dearly, only wished he would&apos;ve been a better person for me. Yes I decided to put it all aside and simply move on. Hope he is resting in peace 🕊️❤
