  the whole “don’t post pictures online and this won’t happen” is so fucking stupid. what about a picture someone takes of you without you knowing? what about a picture someone posts where ur in the background? what about a photo you sent to your friend? what about screenshots of photos that you took offline?The victim blaming is absolutely disgusting.

  A close friend quit teaching when her 6th grade student created a deepfake of her... and the school's response was saying she needed to wear more modest outfits.

  There was a boy in my school who made a deepfake of his classmate and he was allowed to return to the school and even run for student council it was disgusting (my school is terrible at listening to victims but this was a new low for them)

  i feel like those snips from Buffy are hitting to a very important point: the men who think they want a doll because it can&apos;t say no are the same men who will then get bored because... they <s>enjoy</s> violating women, and the lack of push back becomes boring. They don&apos;t actually want someone endlessly attentive or interested in them- &nbsp; but they&apos;ll still use the doll and probably enact violence on it, still feeling unfulfilled and still training their brains/continuing to deepen the training of their brains with the idea that violence and sex/pleasure are directly linked for them. &nbsp; It&apos;s like the conservative men who say they really really want a trad wife, but will specifically seek out women who are independent and impressive... because they enjoy breaking the woman down. But they then lose interest when she actually meets what they say they wanted/manipulated her into being, because again: it isn&apos;t about having a subservient godly woman, it&apos;s about controlling someone that you see as powerful and regaining your power by dragging her down.

  I know it’s already been said a million times , but a MIDDLE SCHOOL boy at my school made deepfakes of another CHILD and spread them to everyone. Despite making actual CP, nothing was done and legal action was not taken. He was not made to leave the school.
