  Shocking that college age men who are in their early 20s can sexually assault women and the press says “it’s just boys being boys, they’re young…” yet when a girl starts her periods as young as 8 she’s expected to be a woman. Give me a fricking break

  The idea that teenagers are "hot" has always struck me as creepy and a bit merciless. Once you are an adult, you realize just how young teenagers actually are.

  Acknowledging that Epstein&apos;s most vocal survivor was an English speaking white woman is incredibly important because it explains why Peter Nygaard, a similarly wealthy old monster, remains less known despite committing crimes at the same time. The bulk of his victims were poor Black women in the Bahamas.

  Are we really supposed to believe that all these rich and powerful men were bumbling idiots who couldn’t resist Epstein’s charming personality?<br>They knew what they were doing was heinous, and thought that money and mutually assured destruction would prevent anyone from telling the truth

  Virginia was hit by a mysterious car that sped away and while she was recovering in the hospital she posted that she&apos;s not suicidal a week later she ends herself? No thats crazy!

  What’s sadder is that society’s creepy obsession with “hot teenagers” never went away. &nbsp;Millie Bobby Brown went through the exact same thing, and she’s STILL going through it in her early 20s right now!

  One reason sex trafficking of young girls goes on is that they are groomed at home. I’m referring to the approximately one in three girls who are sexually abused by the time they are eighteen. The abuse ranges from fondling by a grandfather who is above reproach as the patriarch to ongoing molestation, including fondling, kissing and even penetration by an older brother, uncle, family friend, teacher, clergyman, etc. <br>These girls are usually kids that are neglected. They may have parents who work long hours just to put food on the table. A parent may be physically or mentally ill or immature. <br><br>As a psychologist, and previous director of training for a rape crisis hotline, I’ve talked to hundreds of women like this. I was also sexually assaulted at 13. Another family friend sought my parents’ permission to marry me at age 13, legal with parental permission in some states at that time. My mother didn’t say no. For months, I thought I might have to live with this strange middle age man in his van. <br><br>I could easily have ended up trafficked because my family’s neglect allowed abusive men to groom me. It was only by the grace of God that I didn’t suffer further abuse and exploitation. Countless others were not so lucky.

  I was a child and young teen in the 1970s and there was a very weird cultural notion that children were sexual and adults should help them discover it so the children don&apos;t develop sexual hang-ups as they get older. I always thought that was creepy as hell as I endured older teens and adults who tried to molest me.<br><br>It was especially creepy after the Brooke Shields movie Pretty Baby came out in 1978. It opened the floodgates of old creepy men who saw me as their prey. So effing gross and scary.
