Okay - this will be long but for some reason, I know enough about this to satisfy some questions.

The 4th movie was going to be called Ascendant. The ultimate goal was a spin off TV series. About what? No freaking clue and no leaks that I’m aware of on scripts for either the 4th movie or TV show.

After the lackluster performance of Allegiant. The studio quickly said that Ascendant would be a made for TV movie. Thing is, nobody told Shailene Woodley and she was out there being interviewed about it and was quick to say that she was not participating in any made for TV movie or show. All the other lead actors follow suit.

Since then, I think that pretty much killed the talk of it moving forward. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk about a subject I clearly had a hyper-fixation on at one point 😅

I know you have a couple other stuff in the vault for your line up (super pumped about Sunrise on the Reaping reactions! and hopefully Little Women!) But please add the Maze Runner to that list to finish off the YA dystopian triangle!
