  Yes! &nbsp;That opening Silent Hill scene absolutely set the tone for the entire franchise. &nbsp;I was hooked immediately. <br><br>I played through the whole game 4 or 5 times, but I can&apos;t count how many times I played those first few minutes to relive that initial dread, not to mention showing it to friends. <br><br>Pretty much everything you needed to know about the game is right there in the first 10 minutes. &nbsp;<br><br>And that&apos;s exactly how horror should be done. &nbsp;The &quot;slow burn&quot; approach can be very effective in the long run, but you still need to set the tone and get the audience on board fast.

  This one thing i miss about the PS1 and PS2 days is that there was alot of experimentation with games and horror games.

  Great list. I owned Hellnight back in the day &amp; it totally freaked me out! The dogs jumping through those windows in RE1 were something else, i could barely control jill as it was my 1st time playing the game, lets just say it didn&apos;t end well. These games just knew how to scare you.

  That alone in the dark moment is PEAK. I tried playing it on the Dreamcast a few years ago and that part GOT ME SO BAD

  The dive into the water in Tomb Raider 1 or 2. Jump in to realise it&apos;s deep af, really churns the stomach with how the lighting worked.

  Definitely agree with that number one I remember playing that in my first flat with the lights off after the pub when it first came out and had to keep telling myself it’s only a game😂😂

  Loved the Video brought back memories of my friend and I playing silent hill when it was released The part in this video scared my friend so bad he pulled the power cable out the wall socket 😂
