If you weren't born before the PS1 release , you probably won't understand the impact this generation of consoles had

The amount of hours I put into Grand Turismo was ridiculous. It was very exacting but rewarding. The feeling of achievement when you got it right was incredible.

I loved buying the 5 buck game magazine and getting a demo disk with like 15 demos on it. That’s how I found out about most ps1 games.

The PS1 was one of the biggest leaps forward in video gaming. When Resident Evil launched in 1996 that was it for me 🥰

It's hard to emphasize just how much of a leap the PS1 was, it was the most amazing time in my entire gaming lifetime and I had PONG , so I've lived through them all, lol. Every game, every genre was reinvented with 3D polygon graphics...and it blew my mind. Games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy VII kept me and my friends up for months and I loved every minute of it. Just going to the video store to pick out a game, just hoping there's still a copy left to rent was just part of the fun, lol. It really was a special time in gaming.
