How can a machine this sophisticated not have a pressure sensor on that pump,  not to mention a temp sensor.  That metal got to several hundred degrees.  Tractor should have been screaming at the operator to stop wayyyy before that pinion disassembled itself

How is it that these 'new tractors' go into 'limp mode' or completely shut down if the rear wiper blade is 'too worn' by a thousandth of an inch but will not only shear off the rear drive line it will cook everything till you can almost feel the heat on your back in the cab????? No oil or 'surface of the sun' over temp shut the damn tractor down NOW!!!  Glad to see you replaced almost everything with so much work/expense getting to/from repair work.  Myself, not sure I'd take the job unless I got the entire rear unit pre-assembled from Deere.  So much risk and everything has to be PERFECT-one of those needles gets loose and the failure chain is off and running again..... Well done.

Does any one from the john deere company ever call you and ask you to not say "Oh my God look at that!" when you are taking a John Deere tractor apart?  😂

It's a little baffling to try to understand how cost effective a massive repair such as this might be. This repair has to be close to the limit of feasibility. You guys are excellent mechanics. Holy smokes!

My first time on the channel. I'm an organic farmer in Europe. We don't work anything remotely this big, but I watched the whole thing anyway, and really enjoyed it too. This thing has parts that are heavier than the biggest tractor I ever worked on. Unreal heavy iron. And that pinion coming out polished smooth as a cone, like it never had any teeth to begin with. Incredible. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty incredible engineering from a packaging perspective kind of looks like a maintenance nightmare. Which isn’t entirely unique to this machine or brand. <br><br>The customer should be grateful that you were there to reassemble the machine. That seems like a very very detail oriented process. You would not want to miss a step!
