  First time trying Franklin, I was in Austin on a business trip. &nbsp;Day I&apos;m leaving, ubered to Franklin with my bags packed at 8 am. &nbsp;Walked through line and sat at a table with my suitcase at about 12:30 pm. &nbsp;Worth every second.

  We brought Texas Barbecue to Paraguay thanks to Franklin Barbecue and Aaron&apos;s Masterclass episodes. 6 years since we started smoking meats and 3 years since we opened our restaurant and we couldn&apos;t be happier. Bradley you were also a major influence on us, so infinite thanks to you. We owe you so much that words cannot express our gratitude.

  Aaron completely revolutionized BBQ to what it is today. I agree with the statement that prior to Franklin, the BBQ scene was very niche and primarily consisted of competitions. Then fast forward today, you have a craft BBQ restaurant within a few miles from each other depending on the what city you’re in. So you have to give credit where credit is due. I think he inspired tons of people to start their own style which led to them opening up their own restaurant. Aaron Franklin and Sam Jones are two people fueled my passion of BBQ.

  Great to see the OG still delivers consistently outstanding BBQ that these 3 pit masters still can taste and appreciate. So many of us backyard pit masters have an offset that we sweat over trying to make bbq as good as Franklin&apos;s.

  I love the fact that Franklin got you into BBQ but for me I accidentally stumbled across a mad scientist BBQ video once and that opened a whole can of worms. I found BBQ pit boys, yourself, brad, Franklin and so many others. Watching you gents inspired me to buy an offset and have a go myself and through trial and error, I&apos;ve somehow become the family bbq master which feels like an honour but also a bane for fear of screwing it up but somehow eggs me on to do better than the last time. Much love and respect sir and keep doing what you do. 👊🏼

  Franklin is no doubt what got me into BBQ and purchasing my first offset. Trimming and seasoning brisket, fire management and working with other proteins. I can still watch those videos, they never get old. This was such a great video. Always cool to see the BBQ gods hanging out and enjoying some bbq.

  I&apos;ve tried a lot of the Texas Monthly top BBQ places, some of the OGs in Lockhart, and Franklin brisket is far and away still my favorite brisket and it&apos;s not close. Was also fortunate that Franklin himself was there that day and he couldn&apos;t have been more ingratiating and personable. Was there for a birthday and when my friends told him he disappeared for a minute and came out with a pecan pie and another 2 slices of moist brisket.

  Great point Dave re Franklins world wide influence. We own an offset after visiting and talking to Aaron a couple of times and live in Australia. Also we visit Tokyo weekly and nearby to Narita airport is T’s BBQ an outstanding Texas style bbq place. On wearing my Franklins bbq the guys there gave us free fatty brisket! If your ever in Tokyo visit T’s bbq another example of Franklins influence. Great vid thanks! PS we went to Franklins twice one arriving at 7am once at 730 with beers in hand. We had the most AMAZING time in the queue twice. The queue is part of the reason to go and anyone not going because of the queue needs to simply go!
