  Try the comercial stainless steel, scrubber that will not corrode as. Its thicker and stainless steel.

  If the regular steel wool burns up and don&apos;t work try the stainless steel steel wool

  I just bought a 2010 Honda pilot in excellent condition with Cat codes for my mom to drive 5 miles a day . I’m a master tech with a dealership and before I really tried messing with it to bypass the converter codes I bought a bottle of CATA CLEAN FOR 26 to see how it worked. I have spent more on dumber things lol but I figured I’d try it. I followed the directions exactly and it actually worked! &nbsp;I cleared the codes and drove it to set the monitors for NYSI and to my surprise the monitors clicked off and cat and evap were the last 2 . It can on have 1 monitor incomplete to pass nysi . The cat monitor clicked off and I drove straight to work and inspected it!! 2 days later the CEL came on for the evap but I couldn’t care less it got it through inspection!! It’s worth a try in my opinion.

  As another commenter said, you need 2 of the non foulers screwed 1 into the other so it pulls the 02 farther out of the exhaust stream. And you should probably use copper wool if you use it at all. I have done this on many many cats and it has always worked Kenny. .

  reminds me of decades ago when I caged some steel wool to install on the side pipes I installed on my MGB to quieten down the exhaust. It worked ok until one side blew out a red ball of steel wool as I was passing a cop car.
