  This pair of stars worked very well. Both had value in Boston. Both were all stars, both were all-NBA players. The reason why one had to go is that dreaded second apron.

  The CBA needs to have an exemption for players they drafted. Like maybe only 90% of the contract goes towards the cap or something

  The 2nd apron broke apart 1 of the best duos in nba history.<br><br>If JB assured Brad he wouldnt ask for a supermax extension, they couldve stayed together. <br><br><br>JTs also the better rebounder and positional/off-ball defender. <br><br>The sad part about the trade for JB was that this wasnt like the luka deal. Brad shopped him. Nba teams didnt want to give up assets befitting his status as a top 10 player. They treated him more like a top 30 player. And a paul george deal with a couple of picks was really the best a team offered the celtics for JB.

  Ultimately, as amazing as Jaylen Brown is, he&apos;s a player who needs the ball in his hands and to score to make an impact. If Jaylen Brown has a bad shooting night, then he has a bad night period. If Tatum has a bad shooting night, he can still rebound, create plays for his teammates, and draws double teams that create space for everyone else. <br><br>Jaylen Brown is an elite two way player, but his impact relies on how many shots he can make.
