Everyone's acting like the Nuggets were trash last year. They won 54 games and were a 3-seed. They entered the playoffs with injuries to two key players. Also, I don't see Jokic ever requesting a trade. People are attributing the motivations of other players like Giannis to Jokic. But that's not how Jokic is wired. In fact, at media day he doubled down on resigning with the Nuggets next offseason.

Once you said Dairus Garland to a place that needs a PG, I thought about the Heat. I don't know if the finances work. He hits threes, though. I haven't watched enough of his game to know whether he has that pass-first PG style, but I'm sure he can run a PNR.
