  Whats crazy is hornets were unironically a top 5 team at the start of the new year. Lamelo and Kon became the new splash bros. They had a real thing going.

  Crazy to see that they broke it up with lamelo. Was starting to look real dangerous. Would have loved to see them develop as a team.

  I’m hoping this works for the Hornets….but I doubt it. They should have given that squad another year to gel. Ball keeps a teams defense in check. This allowed the team to play freely. I honestly believe this trade was about attitude and image. They traded away Ball and Bridges. Maybe an analytics move, but the eye test says them boys were on their way to being a good team. We will see.

  The problem is they didn&apos;t sell high. <br><br>Next Boston and Charlotte have the same problem, because why are you trading players into situations that will allow them to immediately disprove everything that you were saying/allowing people to say about them on the way out?!? I don&apos;t understand it. If there is any modicum of success for Lamelo, it will immediately demonstrate that the new management is simply continuing the tradition of incompetence that has plagued Charlotte long before Lamelo ever got there...
