I have a 1200 stelvio with24000 miles on her . I am riding 2 up and the autobahn with an average of 160 kph( 100 miles per hour) for more then 4 hours straight. My ducaties would not survive this but the moto guzzi problems at all. My friend has three different model with the oldest one being driven for 290000 km . Average maintenance cable exchange and 1 bearing plus one set of fork seals . But here comes the good part , valve adjustment $65 ( because of V shape) compare to Ducati $900 plus. Yes , not as powerful and sporty as a Ducati or BMW but reliable and solid especially the clutch is twice as strong as a BMW clutch . Was I just lucky with my motorcycle ? I don’t know .
Or was I unlucky with my Ducati (4 recalls) and BMW(7 re calls) in their first year ? We will never know 😂😂😂😂

I rode a Guzzi as a service loaner once maybe 20-25 years ago. I remember thinking on the way back to pick up my Triumph, "I could live with this as an only bike."

I've had my V7 for 2 yrs. NO concerns or problems. Love the ride... The best thing about it is?? Never having to step foot in a HD dealership!!

If the bike isn't under warranty, ANY motorcycle shop can fix it, you don't need a dealership.
It's just a motorcycle, not an alien interstellar craft.
Also, servicing is easy, so do it yourself. Learn to understand your motorcycle.

The wrench isn't an issue, just mileage based indicator for the service you already did.

Read your machine's manual. The wrench symbol indicates that the service mileage has been reached or exceeded. This happens when you have the service done before the scheduled mileage because it can't be reset until it's illuminated. It only indicates this and can therefore wait until the next service, or you'll need to go to a dealership to have their diagnostic tool connected to reset it. Nothing to worry about at all.

Here in the UK the same problem still exist with not enough dealers, especially in Scotland. I think the Scots have about 4 for the whole country. However if you have your bike serviced at a proper garage using Moto guzzi parts etc, then your warranty is not affected.

A sparse dealer network is the biggest issue in my area.

I just rode my Guzzi V85 from New Mexico to Vermont, through Canada, and back to New Mexico. No issues whatsoever. The bike now has 13k miles. Great bike - lots of fun to ride, and comfortable.

Never seeing a dealership could be one reason.
