  Almost bought a Speed Twin 900, but then I test rode one of these and ultimately brought it home. Couldn&apos;t be happier!<br>It attracts plenty of conversations- some people want to ask you what it is while others enter a euphoric nostalgia and want to share their own Moto Guzzi stories. Seems to be a bike that makes everybody happy.

  I own a grey V7 Sport from last year, and I absolutely love the bike. It’s full of personality and character. The engine is lively, the technology is excellent, and it has great suspension and braking, as well as a very comfortable riding position.<br><br>On top of that, there’s something that few people talk about but that I find fantastic: the shaft drive.<br><br>By the way, I’m also one of the few people who actually appreciate the asymmetrical instrument cluster.

  The Guzzi&apos;s most direct competitor is the Triumph Speed Twin 900.

  The Guzzi also has a six speed gear box vs the Triumph&apos;s five speed.

  Fantastic motorcycle, just got mine yesterday in that very same gorgeous colour! There’s simply nothing else like it on the road and very few Guzzi’s around as well!

  I&apos;m three years in to owning my V7 850 Special. (Twin Analogue dials) &nbsp;Nothing has caused me any concerns in terms of reliability so far. The fit and finish have remained tight and neat. It can be ridden slowly but can also make progress when you need to. I can&apos;t see myself ever selling it.

  I have the older version wit just 52cv, it has a few weak spots like suspension but all is forgiven because of that engine. It feels alive, it&apos;s addictive!

  Benefits of a Guzzi over a T100 is 6 gear box and shaft drive and better breaks plus a massive 21 litres tank. And with some tweaks (Mistral full exhaust DNA air filter and a ECU flash You get about 70BHP at the back wheel) and if You add rear sets you can take one to a track and have bike. There is an endurance race series in Italy using those bikes

  And the modern small block Guzzi&apos;s evolved &nbsp;from the V35, V50&apos;s &nbsp;from the mid 70&quot;s. So there is a true linage unlike triumph.

  Hi Red! Great review there. MG is a brand that I&apos;ve never seriously considered until now. Good job. You&apos;re spot on about Triumph T100. The chain maintenance is a royal PITA.
