  It's funny how an hour before the video was posted, I picked up my PSVita while cleaning and organizing my stuff. Btw there was an issue back then in the PS store on the Vita, where if you confirmed a purchase with or without money or a payment method attached, then canceled it right away very quickly, the purchase would go through without a spending anything. I remember going for the most expensive games that interested me and doing this to get them. They eventually patched it though but nothing bad happened and I kept the games.

  The pandora battery explanation is utterly absurd because triggering the service mode does not disable "the bouncer" whatever is put on the memory stick was still cryprographically protected. A exploit was discovered that defeated "the bouncer". This very same exploit also made M33 CFW possible.

  i found an unmoded PSVita at an e-waste recycling company. bought it for $50 and moded it added a 2tb Microsd card and now have over 22,000 retro and allot of vita games on it.

  The &quot;Pandora battery&quot; was only one side of the hack, the PSP needed a custom boot code called the IPL which was cryptographically verified by the KIRK security processor, we had (at the time) to time attack its hash and cryptographic verification functions to generate a valid IPL data.<br><br>About the vita, F00D&apos;s real name is CMeP and it&apos;s been designed by Toshiba (like Kirk was on the PSP)

  The 3g modem in the 3g Vita can even be swapped for an SD card slot.<br>And Sony made a bigger mistake with the VitaTV. It had a whitelist that blocked most games<br>Rather than remove it, they discontinued the VTV and it dropped to $20<br>Then hackers removed the whitelist, and it shot up to $200, double what it cost at launch<br>So Sony in their infinite wisdom discontinued it rather than remove the lock that made people not want it

  The Vita was like denuvo, it worked up until it didn&apos;t then they got rid of it, in denuvo&apos;s case gutting it after it has been cracked and in the Vita&apos;s case gutting it from the portfolio. Piracy is a service issue and when you can have the complete library on your console for less then what it costs for 1 memory card that holds 4-6 then there is your service issue!

  Thanks to the work of the security researchers, exploiters and the communitied of modders and homebrew - I have a pair of Vita 1102&apos;s (Phat 3G/WiFi, Aus/NZ Retail), a PSTV (Aus/NZ Retail) &amp; a VitaTV (Jpn Retail) all opened up to allow me to preserve the PSP &amp; Vita games I have bought on them for <b>when</b> Sony shuts down the Vita store along with the PS3 store.
