  The case of Josh Guimond's disappearance always reminds me of the disappearance of Michael Negrete from the UCLA Los Angeles Campus in December 1999.  He just walked out of his dorm building around 4:30 AM and vanished into thin air, and there has not been any trace of him found in the past 26+ years.

  Maybe Josh left the poker game to meet up with a man and it cost him his life. So sad for both he and his parents.

  I’m from the Area. I was 20 when this happened. Partied with a friend of his. She was so sad. Remember my dad emphasizing “Always stay with your friend group when drinking” never went anywhere alone.

  My feeling is that he got in a car with someone on the bridge and it ended badly for him. If he was anywhere in the vicinity of that campus they would have found him by now.

  I went to this school between 2007-2011. His posters were still up. The walk between those dorms isn’t long. The campus doesn’t typically have outside traffic coming in and out. It’s mainly students, monks, and maybe some professors. Really bizarre. Hope his family gets closure.

  I’ve seen multiple other cases exactly like this; guy in college goes to a party & abruptly leaves, without saying a word to anyone. Usually after a couple drinks, but nothing excessive. Then he disappears on the walk home. It’s a weirdly specific scenario, especially the part where they just dip out without a word to their friends. Or maybe they did say or do something, and the partygoers aren’t telling the cops everything for some reason, idk.
