  also don’t be afraid to travel by yourself. if i was to wait for someone to join me, i may never have stepped on that airplane and had a amazing time. only people who are boring will get bored travelling alone

  Baltics deserve a huge shoutout.  Super underrated, chill, inexpensive (especially Lithuania).  Tallinn is a top city in Europe for me and Vilnius is probably the most underrated place I've been.  The Soviet history is really cool too.

  My husband and I spent 5 weeks in Florence in 2025. We were there from the last week of January through the end of February. The weather was cool (not cold), everything was open, but there were no big crowds. Apartment rentals are so much cheaper than the rest of the year. It was probbaly the best vacation we have ever had. Highly recommend traveling off season. It is a much more enjoyable experience.

  I'm planning a 6 month Europe trip next year and I'm happy to see that I had 6 of the 7 countries already on my itinerary. Now I'm looking into ways to work in Poland.

  My wife and I did 10 days in Asia in the spring and 10 days in Europe in the fall for about 25 years. If you have allergies avoid Europe in the spring. All shoulder seasons. We worked and had limited vacation time. The first couple years you try to do too much in 10 days. After you realize that you'll be back, you slow down. Much more enjoyable as you age.😂

  Poland is awesome. I would go back in a minute. It's also super cheap. Yes, go to Auschwitz. Just go. Salt mines are also really great!

  We went to the low countries and northern France last year and I can definitely agree that Ghent is spectacular.  Wish we could've spent more time there.

  Poland you want to fly to wroclaw and head south to the mountains, most beautiful part of say, especially on train.

  I did a 10 day honeymoon trip with my wife and it worked out just fine. We went to London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. 3 days in London, 4 in Paris, 2 in Brussels and 1 in Amsterdam. I felt that it was enough but 14 days is definitely better.
