  The Old One&apos;s are kinda a vestige of Warhammer Fantasy, where they have a bit more of a role. Here in 40K the Old One&apos;s are as the chatter said like the Watcher from Marvel, but also The Forerunners from Halo that seed life on different planets. They just don&apos;t care what happens to that life after they seed it.

  There&apos;s a novella about a character becoming a champion of tzeentch, dominating star systems, crushing his enemies and then dying to a brick to the head and in his dying moments it turns out he was a village idiot on a primitive world that got bullied to death for being an idiot and he prayed to tzeentch for power. Tzeentch just trolled a dying idiot for no reason and it&apos;s hilariously in character.

  As to reincarnation, All ELDAR, used to be able to do it, thats why they didn&apos;t care about murder and debauchery. All it was to them was a respawn.<br><br>All Orks believe they still can. You see they believe, rightfully, that the two strongest gods in the warp are Gork and Mork who are just fighting each other. Gork is brutal but cunning, and Mork is cunning but brutal. Anyways, upon death they merge with one, and eventually the other god will punch the back off which is when they&apos;ll reincarnate.<br><br>Besides perpetuals in humans, we know Saint Celestine lived multiple previous lives. So some humans can reincarnate, even if they can&apos;t remember once they do. Celestine only recalls because of her weird status as a basically demon of the Emperor, or angel. Her first life she recalls was during the Horus Herecy and she was killed by a starship crashing into the building she was defending at the Imperial Palace. Her name wasn&apos;t Celestine back then. That was her Sisters of Battle life many millennia later.<br><br>So humans are on the cusp of being able to reincarnate.<br><br>As to true deaths... while one&apos;s soul might be capable of reincarnating, in this universe there are weapons that can weaken a soul too. This basically not only destroys the body but also so weakens the soul, that the victims soul just dissipates into a more vapor more than a singular soul. So the will to keep their soul intact is moot, it&apos;s like knocking the soul unconscious so it can&apos;t maintain its form.<br><br>Sanguinius&apos;s soul was tossed yo the 4 Chaos gods who basically ripped it to pieces and were able to grab most of the chunks, so what little remains is more minor aspects of his former self that escaped the 4. Two of these are tied to the current Blood Angels chapter Master Dante and their chief Librarian Mepheston (one his nobility and the other his darkness). Dante btw is the oldest non-dreadnaught Space Marine at &gt;1,600 years old. If Sanguinius was to return, the Emperor himself would likely have to find all the pieces of his Soul the 4 Chaos gods stole. In Warhammer Fantasy (not 40k) a counterpart to The Emperor has captured Slaanesh (the 4 Chaos gods exist in both universes) and has been freeing souls she/he/it claimed. &nbsp;So maybe it&apos;s possible <br><br>Now Sanginius&apos;s loyalist Primarch brother Farus, who also got killed, &nbsp;is suspected to of leading an army of ghost Space Marines called The Legion of the Damned. Basically flaming ghost Space Marines. The Emperor himself stated he could bring him back during the Horus Herecy but wouldn&apos;t be able to until after the Herecy was stopped. Then he got crippled and Trapped on the Golden throne himself. <br><br>The Emperor&apos;s BFF Malcadore, gave the core of his soul moments before his death... so in theory maybe he could come back too.

  Fun fact: Some of us actually DO know the where the Emperor came from, and who He was before He became The Emperor. We also know His name. But since knowing that, we’ve vowed to never speak or tell said things.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dltPEHGFhjs&amp;t=2573">42:53</a> I think it was missed here by Sunny and her chat but the edit Bricky put here alludes to some lore that speculates that Horus was not the first to be found but rather it was Alpharius and Omegon. Also, the Alpha Legion was the first legion actually put into use but the twin primarchs and the legion were kept secret since they were used by the Emperor as a black ops team. It wasn&apos;t until all the other primarchs were found that the Alpha Legion was made public and became the XXth legion.
