  &quot;I don&apos;t know which to play because I want to play them all!&quot; - Welp...<br><br><b>I</b> am not here to help, because there are EVEN MOAR OPTIONS - These are just the original Legions! Post-Herasey they got split up into smaller forces called &apos;Chapters&apos; (so that if any were to turn traitor again, the actual NUMBER of new traitors could be limited to only a small fraction of what would turn if they stayed as a full legion). And there are HUNDREDS (thousands maybe) of fully and semi-official &quot;Successor Chapters&quot; in the lore.<br>AND - It still doesn&apos;t stop there! Because GW actively encourages collectors to come up with thier own stuff! &quot;Homebrew&quot; Chapters, like my very own Voidwyrms! So you want a bit of everything? You can HAVE a bit of everything! Kinda... :P

  My 3 favorite legions, as well as the most benevolent and the coolest IMO are <b>The Salamanders, The Raven Guard, and The Blood Angels.</b> One thing Bricky didn’t mention about the Blood Angels is that before The Primarch Sanguinius was found by The Emperor and put in charge of them, they were actually one of the most feared legions because of how barbaric and brutish they were. They were thought of mostly as barbarians, than soldiers. But when Sanguinius took charge, he introduced them to more humane practices, such as art. Encouraging them to paint, sculpt, and play and write music. This taught them to actually tap into their own humanity and overtime they went from being seen as barbarians to angels. On top of that, right after learning about their blood thirst, he melt before all of them and swore he would do everything in his power to someday cure them of it.

  In a literal sense you could “play them all” as long as you choose a single detachment (set of rules that is themed after a specific legion/regiment) there is nothing in the rules that states you can’t have a mixed legion army/war-band. Only problem is picking either chaos or loyalist.
