Good info but who could ever check every thing you talked about? Made my head hurt . Simplify for us non mechanics. Made me want to stop driving and get a bike...:hand-orange-covering-eyes:

In April, 2026, I bought a used 2012 Honda Accord (82K), and maybe I should not have. It had about 4 owners. I suggest it was never owned by people who cared, or had enough money, to store it inside. Some metal (trunk lid) is dull, but other panels are shiny. Rust is starting just ahead of both rear wheels, which NEVER happens to this model on a well-garaged car. Looks like "witness marks" indicate maybe driver's door has been removed & reinstalled.

Low mileage is the first reason to check it out. If the rest doesn’t pass then I figure what it will cost to get going and decide at that point. I have never had a car with low or super low miles with a bad engine/transmission. The seals going bad has been a myth in my experience. I have bought and sold more cars like this than 99.9% of people.
