  Most American what's in my bag videos feel like advertisements for all of the products. I really like watching Japanese WIYB videos because of the cultural differences (e.g., everyone carries a towel handkerchief or a small hand towel; they also seem to be into drawstring pouches) and because I'm not likely to be able to buy the products. It's inspired me to organize my bag stuff better.

  I like what’s in my bag videos because I only need phone, wallet, AirPods, and keys which all fit in my pockets.

  Loved the vid!!!! The OG &quot;what&apos;s in my bag&quot; videos (the older the better) are the kind of comfort thing for me that romcoms are for other ppl lol. They are unfortunately, at the same time, the reason why stocking your purse has become an industry with its own niche influencer circle. If I was ever to do a phd in sociology or whatever I&apos;d write about how capitalism will not leave a single human joy pristine and untouched &amp; I&apos;d focus on this as a shining example. There are no more what&apos;s in my bag videos because no one just has stuff in their bag anymore, they plan that shit out and carve out a budget just for bag trinkets every month and that&apos;s bonkers. Everyone liked those videos because how random they were. The stories the person would tell after they&apos;ve fished out something strange out of their bag to explain why it ended up there. Damn the internet used to be so small and cozy.

  I feel like I&apos;m honestly the opposite of you. My bag is my Doraemon pocket. It has everything that I need, and everything that I don&apos;t need lol. I would use pouches inside it as well, but I won&apos;t be so anal to keep everything so pristine. My tote has survived food spill, coffee spill, (because I put my lunch in my tote lol) make up spill, and everything in between. It is a cherished and well loved for everyday use. I guess I could be more gentle like you with my things. Might learn something from here. Love the video!
