  It’s a WONDERFUL album !!! There’s nothing terrible about it! First album yes, and they are clearly trying out different genres. Still it’s a quality album, and very charming and fun, in my opinion!

  She did write one more song with ABBA sadly only performed on tour called I’m Still Alive. It is available on ABBA Live at the Wembley Arena.

  I adore the live version to &quot;He is your brother&quot; as featured in the filmed Aussie tour.It&apos;s slightly slower but more rock country and i will contribute by trying to &nbsp;post it for you Troy/Mark.

  Ring Ring came 3rd in the 1973 Swedish Melodifestivalen, the contest used in Sweden to select their song to send to the Eurovision. Mark was onto something with the Phil Spector comment. ABBA&apos;s studio engineer Michael B Tretow went for his sound for Ring Ring. In 1973 Sweden their album and single charts were combined. ABBA occupied Number 1, 2 and 3 with the Ring Ring album and the Swedish and English singles.ABBA&apos;s manager stig Anderson and his partner Bengt Bernhag discovered Bjorns first band. To cut a long story short following Bengts death Stig offered Bjorn the job of Polars in-house producer, a job he took on condition he could split the salary and work with Benny. As well as producing for themselves they also produced for a lot of other Swedish artists on the Polar label until ABBA became so big the group became their main focus. Interesting hearing you guys talk about these songs. I don&apos;t think they&apos;re bad, they&apos;re just early ABBA and showing how much the group developed over the years.

  Hi guys! I really enjoy your ABBA album reaction videos. One thing I believe about the 1972 &quot;ABBA-Ring Ring&quot; album is that it shows it&apos;s notes of 60&apos;s influences. “Ring Ring” - Definitely influenced by the Phil Spector sound / “Another Town, Another Train” - The life of a singer &amp; the rigors of touring to be successful, but also how hard it is for his girl at home. / “People Need Love” - Lots of 60&apos;s “Summer Of Love” vibes in this one. / “Nina, Pretty Ballerina” - A woman who goes to work each day but when Friday night comes, she knows how to unwind &amp; have fun. / “I Am Just A Girl” - Very 60&apos;s kind of ballad that Burt Bacharach or Herb Alpert could&apos;ve created. &nbsp;I really enjoy this album.
