  Disillusion was actually written by Agnetha. She wrote lots of songs for her solo albums, but this is her only Abba composition.

  Glad you liked Disillusion - unique as an ABBA song in that it was written by Agnetha, not Benny or Bjorn.

  FYI, when a part of a vocal is repeated in the background, that&apos;s not an ad lib. Ad lib means something that the person throws in without it being planned. Nothing in a Abba song is ever ad libbed.

  If you have a soul, you will ball your eyes out when you hear ABBA Voyage. You&apos;ll be amazed at how they retain their classic sound while singing in their 70&apos;s.

  4 songs off this album were included in the iconic &apos;70s ABBA &nbsp;&apos;Greatest Hits&quot; &apos;75/&apos;76 collection.&apos;Ring Ring&quot;/&quot;Nina&quot;/&quot;Another town...&quot;/&quot;&apos;He&apos;s your brother&quot;.That last one worked better as a live number and became one of the most popular live Abba performances from &apos;77.More country rock styled and had Abba having fun fun fun on stage.This album (as another fan well noted) sold over 2,6m copies in the UK was also #1 for 11 weeks and became the 2nd best seller of the whole &apos;70s decade.

  This debut album is much more charming than their second album Waterloo in my opinion. Esp I like He&apos;s Your Brother and Ring Ring.

  &apos;People Need Love&quot; is kinda country pop with some &quot;yodelling&quot; in the &nbsp;outro &nbsp;that&apos;s something that Frida was very much into it and had fun doing.

  This album represents the beginning of their journey as a group. You can hear elements of their later work - instrumentals, layering of vocals and lyrics (I’ve only just thought the lyrics of ‘Nina’ might be the inspiration for those of ‘Dancing Queen’). And bear in mind that they were only just realising that the voices of Agnetha and Frida needed to go up front, because they were fire both on their own and together. And that’s why there are so many songs early on with Bjorn’s lead vocal. They needed to experiment to get it right, and hey it only took this album and Waterloo to do it!
