We had a 740 turbo estate before that a 265 with the V6 it liked a drink....

I had a 1982 Volvo 245 estate (good car), a 1987 Volvo 740 estate (good car), a 1994 Volvo 940 estate (good car), and currently a 2010 Volvo V70 R-Design estate (good car).

Both, basically, quality cars! I love the Volvo, just like all Volvo's from this era.It's a real classic car now. The Audi is also nice but I see it as a 'normal' old car. So for me, the Volvo!!

In my life I only ever had one Audi and it was a money pit, spares were expensive as hell and it was a poorly designed car too. Previously I had a old Volvo which was very comfortable and reliable, not fast like the Audi but an all year round car, so I would always choose Volvo. I now have a five series BMW 2,3 litre from 1996, fantastic car, I won't need to ever buy another car, touch wood !

I'd take the Audi 100 galvanised shell and it only needs K jet injection metering head refurbed common fault any VAG old tech like end would spot that and injector service😊😊😊
