A great price on the Aston. My guess was 120k, but I'm sure Julian and his son will do a proper job and have a 500k car when it's done. 🙂

As a local Bobby in Wembley in the 90's - yes, I did walk this beat every day - one of my residents was a self-employed auto electrician. He had a modest garage he worked from near his house, inside which he had an Aston Martin DB4 and a DB5a..... He said he had bought them when they were "just old cars". I often wonder whether he was able to realise what, even then, would have been serious money from them.

This car will require a lot of welding, the lads have been working on the old girl, and it's gonna be awhile. I look forward to seeing this car rebuilt. G_d bless.

One has to be absolutely 100% brainless to rot such car outside for years. 90% of people are like this: They destroy and ruin everything they touch. Then there are 10% who make everything better and that is who moves humanity forward.
