  If the LDS church is suing over a “Trademark” infringement, they’re claiming lost revenue which is a business entitlement, and they need to be taxed as a business.

  If the church can take John Dehlin to court for his alleged “intent to deceive people”, the church should be taken to court for its efforts to collect tithing money via deception and the intent to mislead with its shoddy attempt at being “transparent” about their own history and claims to its members.

  I was absolutely floored when I heard they were suing. And yet they advertise in the playbills of the Book Of Mormon musical?? Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Bravo, haven’t heard about them getting hit with a lawsuit. They’re going after John Dehlin because he doesn’t have the same means and institutional presence as the South Park guys or the Real Housewives. It’s absolutely ridiculous and pathetic, and I hope John can weather this storm.

  I want to say thank you Mormon Stories and Alyssa for helping me through one of the darkest times of my life. I was shunned from my ward led by my bishop because I wanted to divorce temple marriage)due to abuse. I felt so confused and abandoned. I felt like a failure. I still believed in the church doctrine when I was shunned. I had to seek out therapy (outside the church) because I was so depressed. The therapist recommended Mormon Stories to find out what other people have experienced. I was so shocked and angry when I learned of all the conditioning, manipulation, and brainwashing and down right lies that I had been fed my whole life from the LDS church. <br>I hope everything goes in your favour John!

  If the Mormon church thinks that they can solve their loss of membership by suing John Dehlin….it’s very telling how desperate the church is! Hang in there John! Your podcast is outstanding.

  They are not trying to get the word Mormon out of your name they’re trying to destroy you &nbsp;financially by taking you to court over it.<br>In other words, it’s not about trying to correct a “wrong” &nbsp;that has been done to them. It is just plainly about destruction of your platform.

  I just watched a friend go without food and nearly lose her home because the church didn’t have enough money to help her. Yet they have enough money to hire 200 lawyers and sue Mormon Stories.

  As a never-mo, one of the things that strikes me with every Mormon story told by former Mormons, is that they&apos;d never heard of, let alone seen/heard Mormon Stories BEFORE they started losing their faith.
