  Sure kids don't have as refined a taste as adults but they still appreciate good food and you should still treat them with respect as your customers.

  I think part of what made Gordon mad about the pizza is because it was for kids.<br>He knows kids are more accepting of food, but that’s part of why he was mad. He knows the chefs wouldn’t let this slide that easily if they made it for adults, so seeing this tells him they don’t respect the kids just because they’re kids. Gordon has a HUGE thing about respecting people, so of course seeing kids not be respected ain’t gonna fly with him.<br><br>Gordon actually does respect kids. He sees them as more free spirited people who just need guidance, but that’s it. He respects them all the same and even has a show just for them to show they are just as talented as adults when given the chance.

  I think people really underestimate what Gordon said. I think other than him being upset specifically about the omelette that has been sitting there and possibly contaminated the food (which actually can kill someone who are sensitive to it), he is more upset that a professional chef are willing to serve food like that because over time it will lead to complacency. Today it&apos;s omelette, tomorrow it might be chicken, meat, fish, etc. You watched quite a few episodes of Kitchen Nightmares at this point and I bet you&apos;ve seen chefs doing what he did.

  Hour old food left out at room temperature in a busy kitchen. Yeah, that could potentially kill someone. It&apos;s in the temperature danger zone for rapid bacteria growth. Not to mention the chance of cross contamination from everything happening around it. It&apos;s more likely to result in food poisoning than anything fatal but salmonella poisoning is a definite possibility and can be lethal.

  Just for context, you can totally kill someone with an hour-old scrambled egg. It depends on the temperature and environment, but on a busy kitchen, that&apos;s enough for it to spoil.

  He really could have killed or made someone sick because of the bacteria growth or contamination. Also, there was salmon on the plate too, and old seafood is easy to get ill from

  I&apos;m pretty sure the producers kept Elise around because they know people were tuning in hoping that this might be the week someone put the kitchen&apos;s entire knife supply into her. If she was a character in a horror movie, her end would be drawn out, slow and brutal. It would also be the top clip of the movie.

  Eggs left out for an hour have already started to rot and grow bacteria, so it very well could make someone seriously sick<br>Eggs rot incredibly fast, especially in hot environments where bacteria can thrive and spread quickly, so Gordon was not wrong in saying it could kill someone<br><br>Remember everyone, never eat food that&apos;s been left out for an extended period of time (without proper prep anyway, like cured or fermented food for example)<br>Don&apos;t get botulism, it&apos;s one of the most dangerous toxins in the world and can kill easily
