After a few episodes of this, you start getting the vibe that a good chunk of the restraunt owners/chefs expect Ramsay to come and tell them they're perfect, its just the customers that suck

The sweaty chef isn't necessarily stressed or nervous, it can get super damn hot back there. I worked in a restaurant where only the front of house had any degree of air conditioning, and every time I went back to pick up food or prepare tortillas/guacamole I came back sheeted in sweat. And ofc customers would ask me to turn down the fan after they say down cause they'd say they were chilly. Like please just take a moment to acclimate, the fans are my only reprieve and my only salvation.

Adele said "that's what everybody says, poor Bill..." They've probably been hearing that since he married her, because she's diabolical, and it's not a new thing

In America, you can call the fire department nonemergency and set up a controlled burn amongst other things. My church growing up would call the fire department to spray water on a tarp for us to play games on. We put soap and other fun things on it.

That lady had just not developed self-actualization to have any knowledge of what she could be doing besides working. If she'd developed some talents or interests she wouldn't have thrown her money away on more stress.

22:27 my career driven ex wife complained that I didn’t contribute enough to the family even though I have been a stay at home dad for 13 years and was driving for Lyft and uber from 8 pm until I stopped getting rides… about 3( it’s bar closing time) I would go home sleep until 6:15 to get our daughter on the bus and take care of our 3yo. And then I could take a nap for as long as the youngest napped… but 3 weeks later naps no longer existed.

It seems like Adele wanted a tropical oasis to go to. She dressed up the restaurant like a knockoff Margaritaville, instead of retiring to Florida like they eventually did. They could have used that retirement money to jazz up their backyard into a tiki hut, or retire to Hawaii or go cruising the tropics with all the other old people.
