I'm amazed that she never used the phrase "learning by doing". This is a concept my MBA professor always harped on; learning only gets truly cemented after "doing" something. So, I suppose "thinking" is a form of doing something, but I think physically doing something, that is creating, building, arranging, etc. is even more valuable than thinking alone.

I usually watch TEDxTalks to improve my listening skills, and here is the summarize from video above. The best way to learning is learning by thinking, when we can transform and combine the information outside our head (we already have). Not only that, with Self explanation method we also can train ourselves to find a best replies for the question that we ask to ourselves 😊. Hope it helps

I nearly closed Anwen Reid’s anxiety quiz halfway through because some of the questions didn’t seem relevant at all. I’m glad I finished it though, because the result explained what those questions were apparently measuring. Still not sure I agree with everything, but it was interesting.

It's been so long since I watch a good TED talk. Amazed this one is TEDx. The speaker's delivery and pace was excellent and as a software engineer who still struggles with learning, I appreciated the rubber duck method applied to other aspects of learning.
