  I understand why she went with the 400$ --- picture following a girl who does a bunch of fashion hauls OOTDs etc, and you LOVE her style and find out you&apos;re also the same size<br>So you assume she has tonnes of cute clothes that aren&apos;t worn too much because fashion influencing is her job. <br>She also mentioned that this wasn&apos;t the first giveaway... so that would also put you at ease, thinking the first one went well.<br>When a public figure frames themselves as relatable, fasionable, and blessed with too many garments I can see why the blind box was tempting AND why what arrived was so shocking

  The lack of care put into packing the items is telling. Looked like it was from the closet floor into a box. No cleaning, no folding. I would be so embarrassed to send stuff like that to someone.

  This is why I am ALWAYS iffy on when influencers do the whole &quot;drop a like, comment and a follow, and tag three friends to be entered in a raffle to win this super popular thing!&quot; And then theres ZERO proof of them ever sending out the items! It always feels like a scam!

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZXcFIsUswU&amp;t=738">12:18</a> this is actually a psychological phenomenon known as the endowment effect!! people think their items are worth more than they are, even in bad condition. it’s usually due to concepts called loss aversion (psychological tendency to prefer avoiding losses over acquiring equivalent gains) and/or psychological ownership (the concept of having or even the anticipation of owning an object increases its subjective value).

  That&apos;s absolutely crazy. The influencer sent old, dirty, crumpled clothes for $400 after a month and act like she was doing the girl a favor 😮 <br>Because she would be grateful to have her old stuff. I can&apos;t with this 🤦🏻‍♀️

  People forget that there&apos;s an entire corner of TikTok that&apos;s just people tracking stuff down. Locations, items, lyrics, even people. Something as simple as a building in the background could give away where you live.
