Great idea. My grandmother always saved the hair from her brushes, and she'd spread it around her garden to deter some animals from going in her gardens.

Great idea that I had totally forgotten about! My granny did this minus the solar lights and it was very effective. We have about half the animal kingdom wandering through our property, so definitely going to put this plan into action! ❤️🇺🇸

That's a great tip. I use those little pie tins in my garden, pour beer in it for the slugs. Lots of uses.

Unfortunately city critters don’t seem to be deterred by shiny or lights. I bought a really cheap plastic bird netting with 1” squares. 100ft roll cost like 5 bucks. I just cut a length off and drape it over. The pollinators still have room to do their job, but keeps the critters away.

I know if you ueinate around the outside edge of your garden it will keep them away. If you live too close to the neighbors, etc, urinate in old container and carry it to the garden. So start collecting from all your family lol
