  I love vinyl. I build turntables and tonearms,,,but,,,the biggest problem today is poor pressing. Recently I have had to return several Eastern European pressings. Now these sell for 35+ dollars and this is the single biggest turnoff for seasoned vinylists and newcomers.<br><br>Having said that, some of my original pressings smoke any streaming version. The quality of pressings has to come up.

  For me, it’s the engaging experience of taking the time to listen intently to vinyl. That active engagement alone makes it sound better to my ears, even though I know vinyl is a mechanically flawed medium.

  Streaming is great for waiting for your equipment to warm up before you put on an LP, and finding new music.

  I remember the Animalympics cartoon!<br><br>Fifty something years old and i got back into vinyl and I am loving life.

  Taking a flat transfer and adding your own EQ / tweaking if need be allows you to make your own decision on how you want to hear the tape played back

  What a fantastic video, I&apos;ve been following Michael since 2017 when I got a turntable again! It&apos;s ironic, because when I was a young man in my twenties I saw Michael on MTV in a &quot;analog vrs digital&quot; show ! And I thought he was a crazy old man even though he&apos;s was probably only in his late thirties at the time! Wow, how life comes full circle! I&apos;m a new subscriber BTW!😊
