For someone who grew up watching Good Eats, took up the mantle of cooking turkeys and prime ribs on major holidays for over 10 years, and now a father of two hosting Christmas, thank you for everything Alton Brown.

Bless you, Mr. Brown, for being one of the last vestiges of a bygone era when the Food Network actually showed ❤people how to cook food.

Brown is far and away the most detailed and accurate presenter of food and cooking techniques out there. You always learn something new even when it's a dish or a food you thought you already could prepare,

Reading the comments here and knowing how many of us Good Eats fans there are out here I really hope these get to you and you realize how much joy this content brings to so many of us. Thank you so much for bringing it back.

Alton Brown saved the fire department so much time with the turkey deep frying method that he had to balance it out with the ribs method.

I was a child when good eats came out, gotta say that to this day, 80% of my cooking knowledge that didn't come from experience came from you Mr Alton. Thank you

6:50 “Go in horizontally and insert at least 3 inches deep” I’m trying Alton but I gotta work with what I’ve got here

The vision of pure joy on Alton's face when he's torching the ribs with the flamethrower is pure Christmas magic!

You can't convince me that these just aren't a Good Eats reboot but for the modern era. No TV networks to placate, no contracts to follow, no sponsors to worry about. This is just pure, unfiltered and undiluted Alton Brown and I would not have it any other way.
