I walked out, right after the first IED hit and the squad had to collapse back into the building. I wasn't a Seal, i was a Sergeant Major in the Dutch Army, stationed in Uruzgan, Afghanistan. And i have seen war. I lived it, every time we went out of the gate. Every TIC, IED, VBIED, suicide bomber, is still what keeps me awake at night. So i walked out of the theatre. Not because i thought the movie sucked, but because it triggered a response, inside of me, i did not want people in the theatre to see. And even now, i'm crying, because of the men i lost, the wounded, forever scarred by war. I will return to the movie, but at home, where i am safe.

If you've ever been in combat, you know that this is probably the most accurate war movie ever made.
By a wide margin.

Some of the faces in the end are blurred because they're either still down range or they just wanna remain anonymous.

The reason they gathered everything including the sledge hammer is because insurgents would place these objects on top of IEDs. When a US soldier would recognize their gear, they pick it up and the IED goes off.

Easily the loudest film ive ever watched at the cinema. The sound team did an incredible job on the film. I hope they get some recognition. Believe it was the same team that did the sound for Civil War

The lack of a soundtrack makes this movie even more gripping....

The soldier who came in all shit-hot and started revving up the injured one: He's not intentionally an asshole, adrenaline hits everyone differently.

He hasn't seen what they (the squad we follow) has seen. He's high on his own adrenaline. Some people freeze, some panic, some focus, and others hit a high that makes them feel like they, and everyone around them, are untouchable and fine. When in reality the situation is FUBAR. It's coping.

The sad unfortunate issue was, Elliott, the sniper who was injured badly, was the team's medic.

EASILY the BEST war movie EVER.

This is as Realistic/authentic to the true story… as literally possible… The Dialogue, actions..

Even to it being Purely Real Time. After the Title Screen, after the real picture of the house in Ramadhi. EVERYTHING afterwards is 1:1 real time.

I thought this movie was filmed somewhere overseas in the Middle East but this is what it says online, The movie Warfare was primarily filmed at Bovingdon Airfield Studios in Hertfordshire, near London. To enhance realism, the production team meticulously recreated a Ramadi street, utilizing photographs, maps, and satellite imagery. The set included 13 recreated buildings and even retrofitted military hardware to match the 2006 specifications.
