  I just subbed few days ago. I live in Denmark. When I was little, my parents dug out the garden for ponds. They ended up excavating the entire lot, turn every piece of soil around down to a few meters. Our place was on top of a stone age settlement. My dad collected all the flint, bones, oysters, pieces of clay pots, amber beads and what ever else he found. For years the garden was full of dirt that was being sifted and sorted. Museums weren&apos;t interested as it had no human remains or graves. He had drawers full of flint, arrow heads, knifes, axes, pretty much anything you can think of.<br>He taught himself to knap flint. When he passed away few years ago, I got a huge piece of oak he had glued the most precious pieces onto, neatly lined up in sections. It&apos;s now hanging in my living room.<br>I saw the video of your dad knapping yesterday, and it was so precious. It was like a glimpse of home. I know it&apos;s a few years old now that video, but thank you for sharing your dad with us and what you do.<br>Edited just to say I think it&apos;s refreshing to get content that aren&apos;t edited or shortened. <br>I really think people need to learn to slow down, sit down and be taught to just listen and pay attention to something that&apos;s longer than 2 minutes, before they move on to the next thing.<br>Also, that lil dagger turned out stunning.
