  I actually have experience making strong nettle cordage. One thing to always keep in mind if the goal is to make fishing line or a bowstring is the actual count of fibers in proportion to the diameter. Not only so the line of the same strength is way thinner, when both strong tensile fiber and the connective tissue is used, the softer, often called green part compresses and creates a weak point no matter how good the cordage weaving job is. This problem is apparent in dogbane, yucca, flax and nettle cordage just to name a few popular options. The main way to combat this is to let the stalks rett before even peeling them (it doesn&apos;t apply to yucca). Then combing your stock after separating leaves you only with the strong long fibers. Soaking inbetween combing also helps it separate.

  Yeah, all the other DNA testing sites said the same thing. &nbsp; Unfortunately they went bust and their only asset was the database so the new owners will always use your DNA profile in the most profitable way which isn&apos;t going to be in the best interests of the people who submitted their DNA. &nbsp;Other than my moral objections to the sponsor another fine episode Ben. &nbsp;Keep &apos;em coming young man.

  I was thinking to myself the other day how you put a tremendous amount of effort and time into these videos and you have to have the weather somewhat cooperate too. That said I assumed/hoped you&apos;d be posting again very very soon as spring has now passed. I&apos;m so excited! This is in my top 10 favorite YouTube channels of all time and that&apos;s a VERY high bar!
