My obscure knowledge is… That poodle in the microwave thing is a real tale (or urban legend) about an old lady who would set her poodle in front of the wood burning oven in her house to dry him, but her son was so afraid she’ll burn the house down that he replaced her oven with a microwave. When asked how it works, he told her “just like your old oven!” And showed her how to start it

After wash day for her poodle… she took that “just like your oven” to heart

As a Michigander, I approve of this musical. Love to see someone do a really deep dive into this strange little musical that is catchy af.

I think it might be a justification of the two women about what they do. It says she attracts bad men, but also she makes them think it is their idea. So maybe she purposefully riles up men to get a reaction. She thinks that, if she attracts these types of men, it must be her purpose to destroy them to save other women. This is a justification, in reality, the women get into bad relationships so that they have an excuse to become the abuser in retalliation. They are just as cannibalistic.

I haven't watched the film yet, (I'm going to after this) but my immediate head canon is that the narration is actually the cannibal's internal dialogue, he's just writing fan fiction about his victims to make them sound more interesting before he eats them. Kind of like a chef talking up a plate by talking about how it's fresh from the farm and was fed an all natural grass diet.
Edit: Okay, WOW, I was not expecting that ending. Also, a little note, when we see the masked man pick up the rock, we see something under it that looks like a rotting face, which I'm guessing is one of her prior victims.

Not sure if this is a compliment or not but the entire video reminds me of a youtuber I used to watch called "ScareTheater" Down to the music and everything. I really enjoyed the commentary you give with your own dash of personality. Nice to have on while doing stuff lol. Keep it up and you earned yourself a sub :)

You should trust yourself more in your theories. I feel like you're just one step from a complete conclusion but back down and say "idk maybe I'm overthinking"

this is a good little analysis but PLEASE stop saying "but idk, i might be overthinking it" over almost every thing you notice. we are watching FOR the "overthinking" and your perspective. it would be a pointless video if you didnt.
