  My wife and I went to Universal for our honeymoon last year and we got a duo Ollivander's experience that we will never forget. They didn't let anyone else in, just my wife and I, and they gave us both a pretty unique experience centered around the powerful magic of love. It was truly incredible and such an awesome thing for Universal to do.

  I did get to be the one at Ollivander’s, I was the first in line of the whole day, and we were shoved into the back of the room but then ollivander came through the crowd and said “I was told you were first in line” and it was a cool experience.

  Went to universal in Dec 2024. My daughter (11) wanted to do the wand experience, we waited around half an hour. The experience was incredible and even better….my daughter was chosen! I couldn’t believe it! (And of course we bought the wand that chose her!)

  I went last year, before they offered the Gen 2 wands, and got myself a Mad Eye Moody wand. It&apos;s heavy, and looks like a shillelagh. I asked a team member last month if they still sold it, and she told me it was discontinued. I said that was interesting, but if it ever stops working, I could just whack my enemy wizards with it.

  One note: if you lean more towards the slytherin/dark wizard persuasion, you’ll definitely find Diagon Alley more of a home base than Hogsmeade or Ministry. All three places are amazing! I get the feeling that Universal assumed that everyone coming to any HP land wanted a warm cozy “Gryffindor” experience. They learned pretty quickly that the fans are split pretty loudly and evenly between Gryffindors and Slytherins (my beautiful Huffs and Ravens I see you too and I love you!) and Diagon Alley seems like an answer to those of us who wanted to experience the darker side of the wizarding world.

  I&apos;d say to treat the hogwart&apos;s express as an attraction unto itself and not as an efficient means to park hop especially in the morning when studios opens at 10. Going from islands to studios at 10 am via the express is not advised
